vSeeBox Stuck on the Boot Screen (Logo)? How to Fix It
If your vSeeBox turns on but never gets past the logo — or keeps restarting — a recovery reset usually brings it back. Try the quick checks first.
Quick checks first
- Use the original power adapter that came with the box. A weaker adapter is a common cause of a box that stops at the logo or restarts over and over.
- Unplug the box for 60 seconds, plug it back in, and give it a few minutes.
- Try a different HDMI port on your TV, and unplug any USB drives from the box.
Recovery reset (factory reset)
Important: a factory reset erases everything you've installed or signed in to on the box and puts it back the way it came. Don't unplug the box while it's wiping.
You'll need a thin pin or a straightened paper clip, and the box connected to your TV with HDMI.
- Unplug the power from the box.
- Find the reset button. It's hidden inside the AV port on the back of the box. Gently insert the pin until you feel a small click.
- Hold the button and plug the power back in — keep the button pressed in the whole time.
- Release when the first logo appears. Within about 20 seconds you should see the Android Recovery menu. If it doesn't appear, unplug the power and repeat steps 1–4 — the timing can take a couple of tries.
- In the menu, use the remote's arrow buttons to choose Wipe data / factory reset, press OK, then confirm. Wait until it finishes.
- Choose Reboot system now. The first start after a reset takes longer than usual. If it stalls, unplug the power and plug it back in once.
Then set the box up again like new — see our Setup Guide.
